QuietFocus is a personal focus timer app. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect (very little) and how it is handled.
All your session data — focus sessions, streaks, and preferences — is stored locally on your device using SQLite and the iOS system preferences store. QuietFocus does not operate any servers; your data never leaves your device.
QuietFocus schedules a single local notification on your device to alert you when a focus session ends. Notifications are managed entirely by iOS; QuietFocus does not use push notifications or device tokens, and nothing is transmitted off your device. You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings → Notifications → QuietFocus.
QuietFocus offers a single optional one-time purchase ("QuietFocus Pro") through Apple's App Store, which unlocks additional ambient sounds, completion sounds, and full session history. The purchase is processed entirely by Apple via StoreKit. QuietFocus only sees an anonymous entitlement flag (purchased / not purchased) and does not receive your name, email, or any other personal information from Apple. No third-party analytics or subscription-management services are involved.
QuietFocus does not include any analytics SDKs, crash reporting tools, or third-party tracking services.
QuietFocus does not knowingly collect any data from children under 13. The app does not require an account or collect personal information from any user.
If we update this privacy policy, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
