QuickScan+ is a personal document scanner app. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect (very little) and how it is handled.
All your document data — scans, OCR text, and settings — is stored locally on your device using SQLite and key-value storage. We do not operate servers that store your document data. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export or share it.
QuickScan+ can export documents as PDF files or (with Pro) save individual pages as JPG images to your Photos library. You can also share a generated PDF through the iOS share sheet (AirDrop, Mail, Messages, etc.). All exports are user-initiated; there is no cloud sync, automatic backup, or upload.
QuickScan+ requests access to:
iOS will prompt you the first time each feature is used. You can revoke either permission at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera / Photos.
When you use the OCR Text Extraction feature (Pro), text recognition runs entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework. Neither page images nor extracted text are sent over the network.
QuickScan+ offers a single optional in-app purchase, QuickScan+ Pro — Lifetime, processed entirely by Apple's App Store. It is a non-consumable, one-time purchase — not a subscription. You pay once, and the Pro features unlock on any device signed in with the same Apple ID. QuickScan+ does not use RevenueCat or any other third-party subscription, receipt-validation, or analytics service; purchase state is read directly from StoreKit on your device.
QuickScan+ does not include any analytics SDKs, crash reporting tools, or third-party tracking services.
QuickScan+ does not knowingly collect any data from children under 13. The app does not require an account or collect personal information from any user.
If we update this privacy policy, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
